 CAMP 2015

About the conference

Development of advanced materials has solved challenging problems in designing of materials and devices in almost all the branches of engineering. Substantial breakthrough in many areas of materials research has been achievd in the country. Conference on Advanced Materials and Processing (CAMP-2015) is aimed to focus the recent developments in the science and engineering of the advanced materials in the country and carry forward the researches in the correlation of synthesis, structure and properties of these novel materials. CAMP-2015 will, therefore, provide a platform to exchange novel ideas amog the academicans, scientists, engineers and industrialists.

The topics will cover the following materials:

  • Advanced alloys and composites.

  • Biomaterials

  • Electronic materials

  • Energy and environmental materials

  • Functional materials.

  • Nuclear Materials

  • Optical Materials

  • Structural materials

No separate area for nanomaterials and nanotechnologies are kept in the conference since these are included in all the areas mentioned above. Hence, people working in nanoscience and technologies are encouraged to present their papers under the respective topic listed from 1 to 8 above.

Pink City of India- JAIPUR

Jaipur has been popularized with the name of Pink City because of the color of the stone exclusively used for the construction of all the structures. Anyone who has witnessed the city can substantiate the fact that all the buildings of Jaipur are pink in color. The pink color has its own history. In 1876, the Prince of Wales and Queen Victoria visited India on a tour. Since pink denotes the color of hospitality, Maharaja Ram Singh of Jaipur painted the whole city pink in color to welcome the guests. The tradition has been sincerely followed by the residents who are now, by law, compelled to maintain the pink color.
